Do I need clips to install your cladding?

Only for the very first board. We recommend using our Starter Clips to ensure your first row is perfectly straight and secure. For all the following boards, the system is designed for hidden screwing. Each board has a sunken lip which allows you to pre-drill a pilot hole through the lip, drive a screw through this hole and into your batten, and the shiplap connection of the next board then slides over and completely hides the screw head. This design gives you a strong, secure fixing with a clean, screw-free finish.

Is composite cheaper than wood cladding?

Composite cladding is more expensive initially however, the maintenance costs of wood make it cost more than composite cladding in the long run.

How long does these modern cladding boards last?
