Wood Grain Teak Slatted Cladding

Our Slatted Cladding Wood Grain Teak combines the warmth of a natural timber finish with the durability of composite, making it a standout choice for modern outdoor upgrades. The new 2025 design delivers a seamless batten-cladding look—perfect for homes, sheds and garden buildings. With easy installation and a realistic wood-grain texture, it brings style without the maintenance headaches.

The Teak tone is a warm, natural colour that blends beautifully into a garden and pairs effortlessly with common building and landscaping materials. The capped surface provides increased resistance to UV exposure and staining, helping the boards retain their appearance as they naturally weather outdoors.

Whether you’re chasing a TikTok-worthy exterior or a practical refresh, this composite cladding delivers charm, protection and ease.

Teak isn’t a flat, single colour. The warmer tones and wood-grain variation are part of what gives these boards their natural appearance, so a free sample is the best way to see the colour and texture together before choosing it for your project.

Expert Advice On Our Teak Slatted Cladding

A Word from Our Expert, Allan Jeffrey BSc. Eng. (Hons), Composite Materials Specialist, Environmentalist, and CEO of Ultra Decking:

Browns and Teak have always been popular with customers looking for that more authentic timber appearance, especially across our mixed-colour collections. We first introduced this approach through our Composite Decking Ranges, combining different tones with a more realistic wood-grain surface, and it went on to become a hugely popular range with our customers.

When we launched our Slatted Cladding, we knew we wanted to take what we’d learned from those decking boards and bring it into this new design. With Teak, that meant getting away from a flat, single brown and combining mixed natural tones with our enhanced wood-grain surface and capped construction.

I have to be honest, the feedback we’ve received on Teak Slatted Cladding is something we’re particularly proud of. We’ve had customers and fitters with decades of experience working with real timber comment on how well the finished boards capture the look and character of natural wood.

Once it’s installed, it’s the combination that really makes it work—the variation in colour, the wood grain and the shadows created by the slatted design. You get that warmer, rustic appearance people associate with timber, while still getting the lower maintenance and increased resistance to moisture, staining and colour change that we developed the capped surface to provide.

It’s a product we’re very proud of. We wanted to create a natural-looking slatted cladding rather than simply make a brown composite board, and for me, Teak is where the mixed colour and unique wood grain really come together.

FAQ About our Teak Slatted Cladding

1 Is Teak slatted cladding tricky to clean?

Not particularly. Many of our customers find the easiest way to handle the cleaning and maintenance of Teak Slatted Composite Cladding is with a bucket of warm, soapy water. Alongside a sponge, a soft-bristle brush is useful for reaching into the nooks and crannies created by the slatted surface.

2 What colours go well with teak slatted cladding?

Teak cladding is a brilliant choice thanks to its ability to complement most existing structures. Its warm, natural wood tone pairs beautifully with soothing neutrals or even bold pops of colour. Many homeowners choose our teak cladding because it enhances their property rather than overpowering it, acting as the perfect accessory to an already stunning outdoor space.

3 Should I mix teak cladding with other wood tones?

Absolutely! Many people do mix wood tones, and since the finishes aren’t placed directly against each other, it doesn’t create any clash. In fact, combining different wood tones can be a great way to add depth and visual interest to your outdoor space.
