A Modern Cladding Solution, Built to Perform

Looking to upgrade your cladding with a modern appearance, lasting performance, and reduced maintenance? Composite cladding enables you to do just that. But what do these added performance benefits actually mean for you?

Key Benefits
What This Means To You?
  • monitor icon Increased Protection

Engineered to resist moisture, composite cladding acts as your home’s first defence, helping to prevent damp from penetrating your home’s structure. It is designed to protect your home from some of the worst weather here in the UK.

  • Effortless Care & Maintenance

A common drawback to timber cladding is that it needs to be regularly sealed, stained, or painted. Our composite cladding has built-in moisture resistance, which eliminates the need for sealing or painting its surface to retain its strength. This means less time maintaining its appearance and more time relaxing on your weekends, saving you time and money for years to come.

  • a small vector icon A Lasting, Modern Appearance

Are you upgrading because your current timber solution looks dull and tired? Upgrading to composite cladding means you can retain a modern appearance effortlessly. This gives your exterior a consistent look without the common issues of cracking or splitting, and without the need to replace it after just a few years.

  • Green plant icon A Sustainable, Eco-Friendly Choice

By opting for composite cladding, you’re helping to support recycled materials. Crafted with 90% recycled materials, you are installing a solution that reduces landfill waste. Because our cladding offers lasting strength and durability, it reduces the need to upgrade or replace. This not only saves you money but also supports an improved ecosystem without the regular need for new materials.

Hassle Free Installation Made Simple From Unboxing to Final Touches

Thinking about installation? Is it easy? Do I need a professional? We understand these are key questions.

All our cladding products are designed to simulate a traditional shiplap installation, created for both ease and speed. This means it can typically be installed by an experienced DIYer. In essence, the process involves installing your battens (e.g., at 300mm centres), then pre-drilling and screwing the boards securely into place. For comprehensive instructions and all the essential details, please download our full installation guide below.

Customer FAQs

  • 1Does composite cladding add value to a house?

Absolutely! Not only does adding composite cladding to the outside of a home enhance the visual curb appeal, but it can also suggest to potential buyers that the home is well taken care of and will therefore require less maintenance for them when they move in.

  • 2What's the difference between composite cladding and wood cladding?

The key differences when you compare composite and wood cladding really come down to three key areas: maintenance, durability, and cost. Let’s take a brief look:

Maintenance: Traditional wood requires yearly work like sanding, staining, or painting. Composite cladding never needs surface treatments to retain its performance and appearance; a simple regular clean is all it takes.

Durability: Most homeowners know the drawbacks with wood; it’s susceptible to moisture, which causes rot, splintering, and warping. Because our composite cladding is developed with a plastic and wood fibre make-up, it’s engineered to resist all those issues.

Cost & Long-Term Value: Wood can be cheaper upfront, but that’s not the whole story. When you factor in the yearly costs of treatments, repairs, and your own valuable time, composite provides a much better return. In our experience, it often pays for itself within 5 years, making it the more cost-effective choice in the long run.

  • 3Is it cheaper to render or add cladding?

From a maintenance perspective, composite cladding will be much cheaper and more hassle-free in the long run compared to render or wood cladding. Of course, for a first investment, composite cladding can appear more expensive, but you need to take into account how much money you save on installation and maintenance in the future.

  • 4What is the best colour for cladding?

Of course, the best colour for your home is personal preference, but the most popular colour is usually a shade of grey cladding. This is because it’s timeless, goes with everything, and doesn’t show any evidence of little family members and their muddy hands!

  • 5What is the most popular exterior cladding?

Trends come and go, but our anthracite grey and grey cladding are both popular pretty much all of the time. The smooth finish and wood grain finish very much depend on the right look for your individual property though, so it’s definitely not something you should follow the trends on.

  • 6Do I need clips to install your cladding?

Only for the very first board. We recommend using our Starter Clips to ensure your first row is perfectly straight and secure.

For all the following boards, the system is designed for hidden screwing. Each board has a sunken lip which allows you to:

    1. Pre-drill a pilot hole through the lip.
    2. Drive a screw through this hole and into your batten.
    3. The shiplap connection of the next board then slides over and completely hides the screw head.

This design gives you a strong, secure fixing with a clean, screw-free finish

  • 7Is composite cladding cheaper than wood cladding?

Composite cladding is more expensive initially however, the maintenance costs of wood make it cost more than composite cladding in the long run.

  • 8How long does composite cladding last?

Here in the UK, composite cladding can last for many, many years. Better still, our composite cladding comes with a warranty!

  • 9Does composite cladding offer water resistance?

Yes! Composite cladding absorbs much less water than wooden alternatives, making it rot-free and requiring lower maintenance.

  • 10Does composite cladding have any disadvantages?

The only real disadvantage is a slightly higher initial investment to purchase the cladding; however, in the long run, the composite cladding will work out cheaper.

  • 11Is composite cladding easy to install?

Absolutely! If you have any previous DIY experience, then installing our composite cladding will be incredibly easy. Just download our free PDF installation guide and see how simple it is to transform your home.
