We developed our Signature Teak board to eliminate the negative feedback we saw on older uncapped and even previous capped boards. We were actually one of the first to bring this reversible dual-colour design to the UK market almost seven years ago, giving you the choice of a light or dark brown aesthetic on a single board.
The real game-changer for homeowners, though, is the advanced 0.5mm PE layer. This capped shell absorbs significantly less moisture than standard boards. Because it is so tightly sealed, common garden hazards like BBQ grease, spilled wine, beer, and winter algae just wipe straight off. Plus, through years of production testing, we managed to completely remove the microscopic “thin hairs” that used to sit on the surface of older capped boards. Without those hairs to trap static dust and dirt, your deck stays looking pristine with a fraction of the maintenance.
