We were actually one of the first to bring this reversible dual-colour design to the UK market almost seven years ago, giving you the choice of a light or dark brown aesthetic on a single board.
The real game-changer for homeowners, though, is the advanced 0.5mm PE layer. This capped shell absorbs significantly less moisture than standard boards. Because it is so tightly sealed, common garden hazards like BBQ grease, spilled wine, beer, and winter algae just wipe straight off. Plus, through years of production testing, we managed to completely remove the microscopic “thin hairs” that used to sit on the surface of older capped boards. Without those hairs to trap static dust and dirt, your deck stays looking pristine with a fraction of the maintenance.

1 Will the teak colour fade over time?
All composite products undergo a minor colour softening over time, but our capped boards are specially designed to resist UV fading. The result? A more consistent colour that stays richer, longer.
2 Are these teak capped decking boards easy to install by myself?
Absolutely! These boards are made for straightforward installation using our hidden fastener system. No experience? No problem. If you can measure and screw, you can build a deck in just a weekend.
3 Can I install the capped composite decking over grass or gravel?
Yes you can, but ensure you allow a gradient and its advisable to raise you deck 300mm in height to support drainage and air flow. You must also use a subframe c16 timber or aluminium joists to ensure long lasting strength and durability.
4 Is this teak capped decking suitable for families with children or pets?
Yes! The capped surface is splinter-free, slip-resistant, and but they can get a little hot in the summer so make sure wear shoes or slides.
5 Should I order samples first to see the dual finish?
We always recommend ordering samples to get a true feel for the colour and texture. Screens can only tell half the story, your eyes and hands will confirm the rest.
