1 Will the colour of my aluminium composite fence panels fade over time?
A small amount, up to 20%, of colour softening is expected due to UV exposure, but our boards are designed with stabilised colour pigments to ensure long-lasting richness.
2 Can I install this aluminium composite fence panel kit myself?
Absolutely. Each kit is designed for straightforward DIY installation using an easy slot-in method. Fitting the boards is relatively simple, but correctly setting and securing the aluminium posts may require a more experienced DIYer. 3 Do I need any special tools?
Not to install the fence boards, but again with posts, depending on whether you are opting to sink your aluminium posts or bolt them to concrete, then yes, an experienced DIYer will be needed along with specialist tools.
4 Is this aluminium composite fence panel pet- and child-safe?
Yes. With no sharp edges, splinters, or metal heat build-up, it’s a safe fencing option for families with little ones or furry friends. Please note that dark fence boards can get hot in the sun, so bear this in mind when choosing your colour.
5 What if I need a longer post?
No problem — upgrade your kit to include a 2.4m aluminium post if required.
6 Do I need a post footer?
If your ground conditions require extra support, we offer post footers that can be added to your kit at checkout.
When choosing aluminium posts, it is key to understand that the system is different from our existing concrete post setup. Because the posts need to be securely dug into the ground or bolted to concrete, installing your composite fencing cannot be done solo. If you haven’t tackled this kind of groundwork before, we highly recommend hiring a professional to ensure it is installed correctly. Please note the list below is based on 6ft kits. Each kit has a total height of 6ft, featuring a 1.83m board length and one aluminium post.
